The parallel twin-cylinder engine answers the call of the adventure enthusiast providing the ideal range of horsepower and torque, along with an exceptionally smooth power delivery. 31 kW at 8500 rpm and 42 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm is the muscle you need to tackle steep inclines and tough trails with ease. Thanks to the engine’s 270º crankshaft angle, the low-end torque performs similar to a V-twin engine. Double counterbalancers mean every throttle twist is met with smooth acceleration and even power, greatly reducing engine vibration and rider fatigue even on the longest rides. The 450MT is an A2 license motorcycle.

The high-performance J.Juan braking system includes the front brake featuring a 320mm single disc cradled by an opposed four-piston radial caliper for enhanced braking force and feel. In the rear, a 240mm single disc with a single-piston floating caliper ensures balanced stopping power. Bosch® dual-channel ABS provides enhanced stability and increased braking force in critical moments. A simple handlebar-mounted switch lets you engage or disengage the rear wheel ABS.
